The Big Bang Theory: The Asian Shark

Fearing that The Big Bang Theory is not an accurate portrayal of Caltech University, the creators of the show decide to introduce a new British Asian/Chinese character, in the form of Nam, a British Born Chinese Statistics student on exchange for a year. This ultimately causes the show to jump the shark, much to the fans disapproval.

"Hiliarity" (in the loosest sense of the word) ensues as the geek clique (both socially and statistically) encounter the following scenarios:
- Chinese food just being normal food to Nam.
- Nam suffering an identity crisis as he's more British than Chinese, and in America.
- Nam having a low tolerance in alcohol, resulting in many drunken escapades and Nam frequently blending in with red objects behind him.
- The geek clique, particularly Sheldon, not understanding many of Nam's Britishness.
- The geek clique not getting many of Nam's British geeky knowledge such as Amstrad computers being his computer of choice.
- Penny, Bernadette and Amy being completely ensnared by Nam's James Bond-esque qualities.

After much revolt from the fans, Nam will be killed off in the season finale, having ironically done some research on micromorts.
