Academia Nuts

Mockumentary comedy film in the style of Arrested Development.

This film revolves around PhD student, Robert, and his misadventures as he tries to keep his department afloat, with many of the members of staff and fellow students being quite...irrational in their thinking.
Despite Robert desperate wanting to leave the madhouse, he can't but feel a little attached to the unfortunate inmates.

Scenes to be included (many to be commentated in my best Ron Howard-esque voice):

"Professor Jones had recently been awarded the Best Posterior award at what he thought was the American Statistical Society conference. It was in fact just the plain ASS conference, and despite his many years practising Bayesian ethics,  he had never seen quite so many bare posteriors."

"Dr Singh was walking down Bond Street in London when a sleezy man approached him and stated that  he was a big fan of his work and that one day, he'd aspire to make his own Markov Chain explode. Dr. Singh was both touched and confused by this remark, yet he was willingly led down the alleyway."
