Aliasing

Sitcom about the Statistics Department at the University of Haarville where the academic staff share names with several celebrities and famous people in popular culture. Examples include: George Michael, Colin Firth and Anne Hathaway.

Hilarity ensues as the academics are often mistaken and mis-booked as their famous counterparts and must perform the tasks they were booked for the client, often with disastrous results.

The Head of the Department also realises that this "mis-booking" system also generates more money than the "research and teaching" system and thus decides to focus the department's attention on the more hilarious approach.

It's a mad mad statistical world you see, when combined with some popular culture...
